Becoming a Mountain Bike Instructor

We are looking to train Mountain Bike Instructors. WMBC’s vision is to encourage trail riding. There are many components to deliver on this vision. You bring the bike and your desire. Club members build and maintain the trails. To make trail riding enjoyable, and so you keep coming back, you need to develop your riding skills. Some riders have the drive to do this on their own, but the Club would like to give members a running start by offering skills clinics.

But there is a gap in our vision. Skills clinics need instructors and there are not many in Sudbury. We need more instructors. The Club is willing to help members obtain the basic training required to be mountain bike instructors. We’ll pay for your clinic registration fee, if you offer to be an instructor at our clinics.

The great benefit of becoming a trained instructor is that you become a better rider. It will take a bit of planning, but all the details are in the link below. With the Ontario Cycling option, half of it is online. Reach out if you have any questions.
