On Saturday, December 4th, 2021, people from all over the globe will get out for a ride on their fat bikes! Check out the event page for the 9th annual GFBD at fat-bike.com.

Join WMBC for a Fat Bike group ride at Kivi Park. Groups will be formed so that all skill levels are accommodated. Meet in the Main Parking lot at Kivi Park (Don’t meet at the Raft Lake Road Parking Lot)

If you don’t have your own fat-tired steed to ride, Fat Bikes will be available for you to rent between 10am-12:30pm from Adventure356 at the Park. You need to reserve ahead.  Click here. Due to the recent thaw and icy conditions, rental bike will not be available.

A Kivi Park membership or day pass will be required. Get yours on-line. Thank you to Kivi Park for offering a 50% Discount Code on a day pass for our event. The Discount Code FATBIKEATKIVI is valid for day passes bought on Dec 4.

Non-WMBC members are welcome. You will need to sign a waiver.

It is looking like Public Health Ontario and Public Health Sudbury will allow it, so there will be a social gathering after the ride starting at 1:00 pm at Buzzy Brown’s Basserie, 1984 Regent St, Sudbury ON P3E 5S1.
