Bush Pig Open - 2022 Multi-Lap Race

Despite the recent wet weather, the race will still go ahead on Tuesday. Only the Recreational course will be offered.

The 2nd Bush Pig Open Race in 2022 is Tuesday June 7th.
Come out and challenge yourself on the single tracks at Walden.
The Outside Store is sponsoring the race series again this year.

  • These events can’t happen without volunteers. We need 17 volunteers for the evening.

  • Some jobs are before or after the event, so you can still race.

Registration:

  • Opens at 5:30 pm on Race Day

Cost:

  • WMBC Members - $5, if you need a race plate

  • WMBC Members - $2, if you bring last year’s race plate

  • Non-Members - $15

  • Cash Only

  • Exact Change will be appreciated!

Course:  The course map will be published on Trailforks at Noon on Sunday Jun 5th

  • Recreational Course - 3.8 km lap - follow black arrows, but ignore red arrows

  • Advanced Course - 5.4 km lap - follow black arrows and then follow red arrows

Race start time: 

  • 6:30 pm

  • Mass Start in waves according to Laps being Raced

Race Format: 

  • 1, 2 or 3 ‎Laps on a Recreational or Advanced Course - pick this on race day

Prizes: Draw prizes will drawn post-race

Results: Will be posted the next day
